Hello Colleagues, Friends, and Community Members,
You are reading this because you have a connection to students. You are someone who cares about the lives of kids, and we hope you will take just a moment to think about the boys you know who are in grades 3-6.
These boys like to sing – may or may not have sung in a choir before – they are someone who you feel could benefit from this opportunity to sing, meet other boys, represent your community, and “dip their toe” into the world of the Cincinnati Boychoir – easily and inexpensively and right in their own “backyard”!
The Cincinnati Boychoir invites all boys with unchanged voices in grades 3-6 to join them for their 2022 Boychoir Festival! There are four community rehearsal sites around Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky leading up to the Festival Day on February 26 at Memorial Hall! The attached flyers (each specific to the community rehearsal location) will provide you with details and can easily be passed along/forwarded to those who you encourage and believe will be interested.
There is no audition or prerequisite to being in the Festival Choir. Participating singers will participate in two rehearsals in your community, culminating in one city-wide day of Boychoir music making on Saturday, February 26 at Memorial Hall in Cincinnati. Their Festival Day will be complete with workshops, rehearsals, bucket-drumming, composing, food, friends and more! Families and friends will be invited to their free final concert.
The cost per participant is $25.
The Boychoir is committed to equitable access – so if there is a financial concern, students can apply for financial support.
